Many residents use golf carts and bicycles for travel within the community. Benevilla, the Sun City West Foundation and other transit organizations provide inexpensive door-to-door transportation service for residents unable to drive. The Mayo Clinic also provides a shuttle to its Scottsdale clinic.

Looking for an affordable golf experience? Sun City West Golf has 4 championship regulation courses and 3 challenging executive short courses at very reasonable rates.

• Desert Valley is Sun City West's newest Par 72 Championship course designed with the senior golfer in mind.
• Desert Trails is a unique Par 61 Executive course with 7 Par 4's with plenty of challenging grees and pin placements.
• Echo Mesa a Par 60 Executive course of beautiful lakes and grass bunkers in the center of the Swan Wildlife Program.
• Grandview is their longest course, a Par 72 Championship featuring water on 7 holes and as many as 8 sand traps on a single hole. This course is a true challenge.
• Pebblebrook is Sun City West's first Par 72 Championship course challenges golfers of all levels. Wide and friendly fairways are bordered by mature trees. Lakes and creeks add to the aesthetics.
• StarDust a Par 60 Executive course features 6 Par 4’s and 12 Par 3’s with tree-lined fairways, subtle greens, and deep bunkers.  The back nine is considered the hardest with water coming into play on 4 holes.
• Trail Ridge is a Par 72 Championship regulation course that offers a unique desert landscape. Trail Ridge is challenging to all players at all skill levels.

The Sun City West Property Owners and Residents Association (PORA) maintains the Sun City Visitors Center greeting more than 11,000 people every year. They offer guided tours and a free VIP Pass (at least one person must be age 55+), providing 7 consecutive days access to the Recreation Centers for those seriously looking to relocate to beautiful Sun City West.
